Everyday Beautiful™ Eczema and Psoriasis Cream was designed for a friend has had a life-long outbreak of psoriasis plaque rash. My friend had been on prescription medication for 31 years! Nothing really seemed to help; the scaly and red inflamed areas just would not go away! She was embarrassed by stares her psoriasis provoked from her customers. Even her grandchildren were asking about her boo-boos. Her doctor had suggested trying a different medication to treat her psoriasis. The doctor said the new medication would be given by injection. She was not all that excited about the concept of taking medication that would not be a daily treatment. She was worried about side effects the new medication has. The injectable medication has a long list of serious side effects. She questioned how effective the medication would be in treating the actual appearance of the psoriasis. Her doctor told her it might take 3 or more months before effectiveness might be noticed and, of course, she would continue the medication for the rest of her life. On a whim, I offered to try and make an ointment that might help smooth out the scales and maybe reduce the redness.
Throughout life, I have researched the qualities of various natural oils as well as essential oils. When I started Herbs & Such, I created a software program where the properties of each oil are defined. All I need to create various products is call up the properties I need in oils and create a list of possibilities for any particular cream. With the list of oils that might help my friend, I began blending for a scent that might be pleasant as well as effective. Once I had that combination, I then began working with the natural oils for a suitable cream base. Every cream I make is unique in that sense. I do not use one basic formula for all my creams or even my soaps! I blended up a small batch of cream using all natural and essential oils for my friend to try on her psoriasis. She was ok with the scent of the cream I made for her. She just loves my oils and creams because only a very small amount is needed. Jar in hand; my friend went home to give the cream a try on her psoriasis.
The next time my friend and I met up, I asked if she had been using the cream I made for her psoriasis rash. Excited, she responded she had been and that she loved it! She showed me her elbows - two of the most noticeable sites of her rash. The rash was still red but smooth! She then told me how long she had been using prescription medication and never had such good results on the plaque. I saw the redness and knew I needed to tweak the essential oil blend some. After adjusting the recipe, not only did she actually like the scent, but the redness also calmed down. Now, her elbows look fairly normal - in less than two months' time!
I don't normally go on about my products but I really needed to share this with you. I do not suffer eczema or psoriasis. All I have are some rough spots on my elbows (from sitting at my computer and them rubbing the arm rests all day!) I would never have even considered a psoriasis cream as a product to attempt making. I know about eczema and psoriasis only from the commercials on tv. I admit I am not sure what scares me more, the scaly, rough red plaque patches associated with eczema and psoriasis or the way too long list of possible side effects from the various medications being prescribed to treat the ailments. The prescription medications the pharmaceutical companies want you to talk to your doctor about are quite scary to me!
Now, I am not a doctor. I'm not a nurse! I am not even a pharmaceutical company. What I am is a lady with a friend that has psoriasis. My friend is happy just a drop or two of the cream on her rash every day has had this amazing soothing, softening and calming effect. My cream is not a cure; I don't cure anything! My cream won't heal your eczema or psoriasis; my all natural products do not heal anything! This jar contains 2 fluid ounces of cream and costs only $10.50 USD. This jar will last you a long time because you literally need only a drop or two on an area the size of your elbow. You can use cream once or twice a day - my friend uses it once a day.I am excited about this cream because my friend is so very happy with it. I think you will be very happy with it too!
